Tent Installations Over 100sqm

• Tents larger than 100 square meters will be installed exclusively on grass or open veld areas.
• For installations on parking lots or tarred surfaces, water ballasts will be required.
  If the area has paving that allows for lifting and peg installation, water ballasts will not be necessary.
• Please note: Water ballasts are not included in standard quotations and will incur an additional charge if required.
• When water ballasts are needed, a high-pressure water tap must be available within 50 meters of the installation site.
  Filling each water ballast may take a minimum of 2 hours, depending on water pressure, and must be completed prior to erecting the tent.
• All tents exceeding 100sqm require a Certificate of Compliance (COC). This is a legal requirement and non-negotiable.

Anchoring Tents to Buildings and Structures

• A full site plan, clearly indicating all underground electrical cables, water pipes, sewers, and/or sprinkler systems, must be provided at least 7 days before the tent installation if pegs are to be used as anchor points.
• Elegance Events & Décor is not liable for any damage resulting from the absence of this information.
• An authorized site manager must be present to sign off on the installation prior to any pegs being inserted.
• Please be aware: Pegs are driven deep into the ground and may cause damage to gardens or lawn areas.
  Elegance Events & Décor cannot be held responsible for such damage as it forms part of our standard and safe installation process.

Terms of Agreement

• This agreement is only valid once an official Elegance & Décor quotation/contract is signed and accompanied by a formal, company order.
• The client is responsible for All Risk Insurance on all equipment at the venue, unless otherwise specified in the quotation.
  If the client chooses to waive this insurance, any loss or damage to the equipment will be at their own risk and expense.
• In the event of cancellation by the client (for any reason, including weather), the deposit paid non-refundable.
  The full agreed amount becomes payable immediately upon cancellation.
• If cancellation occurs at least 30 days before the event, the deposit will still be forfeited unless a new date is confirmed within six months.

Agreement Confirmation

By accepting this agreement, you acknowledge it constitutes the full understanding between yourself (the client) and Elegance Events & Décor.
